In 1985 Fred Yates sent 28 paintings to a collector in Philadelphia. The paintings were to be stored with him for a possible exhibition at a later date. However, soon afterwards Yates moved to France and the two lost touch. Last year they finally located one another and all the paintings were returned to England to form basis of this exhibition.
