Gennadii Gogoliuk - Waves Of Time

This will be the first exhibition by Genaddii Gogoliuk since 2003. Waves of Time concerns the cycles of change that have marked the artists work over the last 15 years as he has moved from academic painting, through years spent as a performance and conceptual artist and a return to figurative art. Many of the paintings in this exhibition take a child's drawing as a starting point. His daughter, Lucy has been a continual source of inspiration for the artist and in this show her drawings and presence are often fused into paintings of great complexity.

A catalogue is available on request from 20th May and the paintings can be previewed in the gallery from Thursday 26th May. No paintings will be for sale until the private view. You can register your interest in a painting at any time by contacting the gallery by phone, email or in person. Ballot cards will be completed in which you can select a painting or leave several choices in a particular order. The ballot will be drawn at the private view.
